Safety Wet Towels
Playing with fire never felt so safe! Crafted with precision, and designed for safety, the Elitist towels give you the confidence to master the art of fire performance without inadvertently turning into the human torch.
The large and medium towels are designed to be used as “Wet Towels”, these would be soaked with water and either used as a method of safely and rapidly extinguishing flames, should they find their way off your fire prop and onto your person; or as a mat of sorts, to be laid on the ground to store your props on top of during your routine. You can then roll them up in the towel and carry them off after your show. The towel, being wet, will help extinguish your fire props after use, simply roll them up in the towel, apply pressure to the flame wick area, and they will put out better than your high school crush.
We offer three different sizes:
Large Wet Towel (155cm x 80cm) - These are longer than our full size fire sticks, so you completely fit them lengthways on the towel with no overlap.
Medium Wet Towel (100cm x 41cm) - These will accomodate double staffs and fire swords with no overlap.
Small Face Towel (33cm x 33cm) - For general clean up and moisture absorption (not guaranteed to clean up your attitude).
You may also notice in our large and medium towels, two holes in each end. Yes, we put them there on purpose. These will help you ring out all the water when you are finished with them. That way they dry super quick. Simply drape the towel over/around something fixed in place, then slide the “Ringing Stick” (provided free with every towel order) through the holes, and twist it over and over again. Enough water will come out to make a plumber nervous.
You can purchase them individually, or as a set, the choice is yours. It’s the most excitement you’ll ever get from a wet blanket!
